Senior Wealth Manager
The Senior Wealth Manager is first and foremost an ambassador of the firm. A Senior Wealth Manager serves as the lead financial advisor for a select group of the firm’s clients, by working collaboratively in a team environment to establish a high level of trust, provide superior service and sound financial planning advice. The Senior Wealth Manager is responsible for client retention and maintaining a commitment to business development to contribute to the growth of the firm.
Primary Responsibilities
- Leader of wealth management team and primary spokesperson in communicating all financial planning and investment related matters to clients.
- Run a cohesive wealth management team and meet with them regularly for meeting preparation and client follow-up
- Review and update financial planning recommendations
- Have a deep understanding of firm’s investment philosophy and communicate investment performance
- Respond to client inquiries in a timely manner
- Maintain appropriate level of capacity to effectively service clients, ensure team’s work is completed, develop business and help develop other advisors on your team
- Collaborate with client’s trusted advisors
Business Development Responsibilities
- Participate in Business Development Committee
- Develop and execute a business development plan targeting growth above and beyond existing clients’ billable AUM by 8% annually (net of redemptions)
- Network on a regular basis with various professionals to build COI relationships and referrals
Skills
- Strong business development track record, internal leadership, dedication to colleagues and mentoring
- Experience with high-net-worth clients
- CFP Certification preferred
- 10 Years Business Development and WM experience
